Get a token’s largest holders in one Assets API request. Holders are sorted by balance, largest first, and the response carries holder_count and supply, so you can show each holder’s share without a second call. Set these once in your terminal. The sample values are real Testnet data, so the read examples return real results.

Notes

  • The JavaScript and Python versions compute shares with integers from balance_raw and supply and round the same way. The curl line uses jq’s floating point and is for display only.
  • supply is null when the index has no supply for the token (and at a past ledger); skip the share column then.
  • kind tells accounts (trustline, native) from contracts (contract). The largest holders of a token are often pools or vaults, as here. Filter on kind in your code to rank people only.
  • limit is at most 200. For more than 200 holders, follow _links.next.href.
  • min_balance=1 leaves out holders below 1 unit.
  • To find one address’s rank, call GET /assets/{asset}/holders/{address}. See Holders.

Credits

On Mainnet, holders cost 5 credits per started 100 records, so this request costs 5 credits. On Testnet it is free and counts toward the daily Testnet cap of 10,000. See Limits and credits.
